Murray had a total of 148 yards and scored 3 times to help the Sooners beat high flying Air Force 27-24 in Norman.
Murray had a 5-yard TD run and brought in a 17-yard screen pass in the 3rd quarter to give OU what looked like a comfortable lead. The Sooners ran off 17 straight points and it looked like the game was in hand.
The Falcons did make a run at the end, and before you knew it they were only down by 3.
However, OU was able to run down the clock and escape disaster.
Both teams put up some offense, Air Force racking up 458 total yards and OU netting 367.
However, the Sooners continue to struggle with putting teams away, which is playing with fire once you get into Big 12 games.
With the win, OU extends the nations longest home winning streak to 33.
Should be interesting to see how they answer the call next week at Cincinnati. The Bearcats are struggling themselves, so OU could easily be 4-0 after the weekend.
