The sports world can be an interesting place, depending on where you’re sitting. Situations and stories can be viewed from different angles.
It’s something I learned from my years of playing baseball. I’ve viewed the game from the bench and on the field. In baseball, just when you thought you’ve seen it all, something else happens that makes you throw that theory out the window.
I played junior college baseball in Oklahoma, then played NCAA baseball at Missouri Western until the injury bug caught up with me. There were numerous college teams that showed interest in me and I was even able to get a couple of quick looks by some pro teams. The high school summer games, all the college games and different camps, these things I will treasure for the rest of my life.
No matter which sport it is, the game can be played, observed and enjoyed in many different ways.
It just depends on the view.
